Strength 3000 MPa Tungsten Carbide Ball with 10% CO content used for Ball Mill

Description:

Carbide ball is made by refractory metal WC powder as a main component, cobalt (Co) as binder, sintered in HIP furnace using by powder metallurgy techniques.

Our cemented carbide balls are marked by high hardness, good wear resistance and transverse rupture strength. TC ball is usually used in harsh conditions, and can perfectly substitute steel balls. We can also provide products in different sizes and grades to meet our clients’ requirements.

Recommended grade is YG10, it is composed of 10% cobalt content, 90% WC content, 1~3 μm grain size, transverse rupture strength: above 3000 MPa, density: 14.1 g / cm3, hardness: above 90.8 HRA.

Tungsten carbide balls are used where extreme hardness and wear resistance is required, such as bearings, ball screws, valves, flowmeters. Tungsten carbide ball is always used for ball milling, effectively making powders added with different elements be more even. Besides, during ball milling process, TC ball can also act as a grinder. The collision between balls enables powder particles to be much smaller, which will benefit final microstructure of products with sintering HIP technique.

Application:

Tungsten carbide balls are used in applications requiring extreme hardness and resistance to wear and can withstand hard shocks and impacts. Common applications for tungsten carbide balls include ball valves, flow meters, ball bearings, linear bearings, and ball screws.
