Description:
Cemented carbide anvils are forged, pressed and hip sintered by powder metallurgy technique. Carbide anvils are key components of EHV and high temperature apparatus which can synthesize artificial diamonds.
Due to its high strength, wear resistance, excellent toughness and thermal stability, tungsten carbide becomes an optimal material for this application.
Our grade YG8 is highly recommended, it is made of 8% cobalt content, 92% WC, hardness: 90 HRA, 1~1.5 μm grain size, density: 14.7 g/cm3, transverse rupture strength: 330 MPa.
Our cemented carbide anvils are marked by their high wear resistance and superb toughness.

Some important properties of 6 facet tungsten carbide anvils.
1. Bending strength
At high temperature, the bending strength of carbide anvil will decrease. Cooled by water, we can prolong its service life. The bending strength is also related to its structure.
2. Compressive strength
The compressive strength is the most important indicator of 6 facet cemented carbide anvils.
3. Impact toughness
The impact toughness is highly related to the content of free carbon. Low impact toughness may lead to fracture.
4. Hardness
The hardness of 6 facet tungsten carbide anvils indicates the compression resistance. It is affected by cobalt content, WC particle size and temperature.
